Summer 1993. Daniela Sacerdote heads to Mexico, where she tries out an all-new spa treatment: a scrub based on corn fragments, marine salts and essential oils. On her return this idea gives life to Talasso-Scrub, an all-new mixture of 90 different marine salts plunged into a cocktail of super-nourishing oils and energizing essences to regenerate, smooth and nourish the skin, preparing it for subsequent treatments. The original formulation is later followed by others, all effective fusions of the two worlds of thalassotherapy and aromatherapy. Talasso-Scrub is an expression of the brand’s fluidity, of its readiness to innovate and experiment by “looking beyond” - in this case to the world of spas, creating unique products for the beauty world. More than twenty years later, Talasso-Scrub is still the best-selling body scrub in its target market.

TAN WITHOUT SUNSHINE
One of the products which epitomizes the uniqueness of the Collistar brand is Face Magic Drops, launched in 2008. This self-tanning liquid concentrate delivers even, golden, radiant color in less than an hour. This result is made possible by the technological innovation of DHA rapid, a self-tanning molecule which not only halves the tanning time but also avoids streaks and spots. Aloe juice, vitamin E and a special biotechnological derivative of soya and corn do the rest, making the epidermis super-smooth.The range was then completed by the launch of Body-Legs Magic Drops, further strengthening the brand’s leadership in the self-tanning sector.
